Today is my birthday. As I get older, it's a fact that is harder to remember.

Luckily, I have participated in dozens of discussion forums and bulletin boards over the years. Almost all of these have a feature that sends an automated greeting on its users' birthdays. I've received a bunch already and the day is young.

Now all I have to do is remember to pay the Internet bill and I'll never have to remember my birthday.
